Warehouse Manager

Job Description:

Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of office furniture, stationery & supplies.
  • Ensure proper handling of bulky and heavy furniture items to prevent damage and injury.
  • Coordinate deliveries to Montego Bay branch and customers, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch.
  • Maintain optimal warehouse layout and space utilization.
  • Investigate and report stock variances, damages, and losses.
  • Implement proper stock rotation and storage practices to prevent deterioration.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Operations & Inventory teams to manage stock availability.
  • Supervise all warehouse staff
  • Provide on-the-job training and performance guidance to warehouse staff
  • Liaise with HR, Accounts, and Management regarding staffing, overtime, and operational needs.
  • Support customer service by ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate special deliveries, installations, or bulk orders as required.
  • Any other related duties assigned.

Academic Qualifications and Experience required for job:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in furniture, retail, or distribution.

Warehouse Attendant responsibilities include storing materials, picking assembling, and packing orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Customer Service Representative

Job Description:

The customer service representative is responsible for assisting existing and potential customers with product and service inquiries with prompt efficiency in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. You will be responsible for customer retention by addressing customers’ concerns and providing follow-through and updates regarding customers’ queries and or complaints. You will be required to liaison with various departments within the company to ensure customers’ complaints are resolved in a timely manner.
